Organizing a wedding abroad

Organizing a wedding or post-wedding session abroad really isn’t anything difficult these days. There are many agencies that will do it for you. In this case, the bride and groom opted for the help of the girls from 5Events – Ślub za granicą. And I can honestly say that it was a hit. The girls are really great at what they do. They have a lot of experience and an on-site staff that will guide you through all the formalities without the slightest stress.

Civil wedding in Riomaggiore

And the wedding itself? Can you imagine a more beautiful place for an outdoor ceremony and post-wedding session than the colorful Riomaggiore in Cinque Terre? Being there, I was totally amazed. As a photographer and as a tourist. A place to be ticked off!

The colorful streets located on the hillside are incredibly impressive. In my opinion, Riomaggiore is the prettiest town of all in the Cinque Terre. You can get there in a very easy way – by train from La Spezia. The town is quite small, so you can get around it in a few hours and see the main attractions. Kamila and Matthew’s civil wedding took place on top of the castle. And take my word for it, it was a very moving wedding.

Post-wedding session in Riomaggiore

I must admit that the plan for this session was quite different. First of all, unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor. It had been raining every now and then since the morning, so we had to photograph in the weather window. Fortunately, the sun came out during the ceremony and stayed that way until sunset. Because of the weather, the sea was rougher, so there was a ban on the boat we had booked for the wedding session. So we had to improvise. And our post-wedding session couldn’t have turned out better 🙂
