Are you ready for an engagement session?

It’s an exciting time, but many couples don’t know what to expect from such a session. For many, it’s the first time they’ll be taking professional photos. And others may find it strange to document their love with a photographer who is practically a stranger. Yes, I perfectly understand all these doubts. But it is worth going for such a session for many reasons!

Engagement sessions performed by me are natural. I will spend time with you and let your love story slowly unfold during our session.

Booking an engagement session

Soon after you say “I do!”, I recommend scheduling an engagement session. Even if you have a distant wedding date, capture new emotions. After all, this is a very special moment in your lives. I mean you have just agreed to spend the rest of your life with someone! This is a big deal. So find a photographer you feel connected to and ask him to capture your story.

Preparation for an engagement session

I always ask my couples a few questions to get to know them better. You can share anything with me. The more you tell me about yourselves, the better I can record your story during the session. During this time, we will choose a location, select outfits that match your style, and prepare for the session.

During the engagement session

This is the time to be yourself! I’ll guide you through natural poses and give you suggestions on what to do. I’m sure we won’t end the session without some traditional shots of you both looking into the camera. But ultimately, I want the photos to reflect your unique personalities and the love that brought you together.

After the engagement session

The hard part is over for you. Now you have to give me a moment to prepare your photos! Don’t worry, I won’t make you wait too long 😉 Usually, I deliver the full gallery 3-4 weeks after the session. Many couples use the photos to announce their engagement or as a wedding gift to their parents. This is a wonderful keepsake that will stay with you for years to come.
